Henry Carrol Jackson

Henry Carrol Jackson, 94, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Henry was a retired employee of Blue Bell Packing with 25 years of service. He was the oldest living resident of Sunfield. He was of the Protestant faith.
He was born January 9, 1907 at Tamaroa, the son of Fred and Martha (Davis) Jackson. He married Mary Viva King on December 4, 1929 in Perry County, IL she passed away December 6, 1998.
He is survived by three daughters, Eileen Jackson of Du Quoin, Betty O'Keefe of Du Quoin and Patty Bruns of Pinckneyville; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one infant sister.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2001 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Steve Bareis and Rev. Jerry Dunn officiating.
Friends alledfrom 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment was in the Paradise Cemetery at Tamaroa.
